Frequently Asked Questions
Information About Diseases and Treatment Processes
A liver transplant is the only life-saving treatment option in cases where the liver can no longer perform its functions, such as end-stage chronic liver failure (e.g., cirrhosis), in certain liver tumors, and in situations of sudden-onset acute liver failure.
Although the recovery process varies depending on the patient’s overall condition, the first few weeks after the operation generally require close monitoring in a hospital setting. The process of full recovery and return to normal life is managed through continuous follow-up by a multidisciplinary team.
Advanced-stage oncological cases in which surgical boundaries are challenged, as well as diseases with complex vascular involvement, require a multidisciplinary evaluation. With over 20 years of surgical experience and the technical expertise we have contributed to the medical literature, we determine the safest and most personalized surgical strategy for such cases in light of current scientific evidence. Our priority is to achieve the most effective outcome without compromising the patient’s quality of life.
